Founded in 1988 by a group of visionary young Saudis, KUDU has significantly redefined the dining landscape in Saudi Arabia. Our journey began with the opening of the first restaurant in Riyadh on April 16, 1988, where we introduced a fresh concept of made-to-order sandwiches, within a live theatrical open kitchen environment.
Over the next 35 years, KUDU experienced rapid growth, expanding to over 350 locations and employing more than 5,000 dedicated staff members across the Kingdom. This expansion was strategically achieved through a mix of company-owned outlets and a franchising model initiated in 2004, which further propelled our presence across the nation.
In 2022, KUDU entered a new phase of development following its acquisition by esteemed local investors. This transition fueled ambitious plans for further domestic expansion and exploring franchise opportunities in emerging markets.
